Eleanor Oliver

Eleanor Oliver is a multi-media artist who loves images. She is devotional in her curation and appropriation of found imagery online, which is recontextualised through the process of assemblage. Their newest body of work is concerned with the materiality of digital images, in which image transfer techniques and abstract painting is combined to investigate the relationship of media to surface. This installation takes inspiration from the many and contradictory notions of ‘screens’, as surfaces which both grant and deny access to the material they host.
